Grants in Nethy Bridge for the Clan Grant Gathering

Clan Grant members from around the world in Nethy Bridge for the Clan Grant Gathering

The Abernethy Highland Games are the home to the Clan Grant Gathering when Grants from the Highlands of Scotland and from all around the world come together to celebrate their roots.

The Massed Bands lead the Clan Grant members over the Telford bridge in Nethy Bridge and onto the Games Field. This then forms the start of the official opening ceremony when the Games Chief who is elected for the day declares the Games open.

On the Games Field there is a Clan Grant tent where all Clan Grant members are welcomed as old friends and offered warm Highland hospitality.
