Community Centre Facilities
Our Community Centre comprises of Village Hall, Visitor Centre (Explore Abernethy), Bowling Green, Playing Field, Childrens Playground and adjacent woodland ‘The Birch Wood’.
The Village Hall contains large and small halls which can be used for a variety of purposes. A fitted kitchen serves both halls.
The whole building is covered by a Wi-Fi network giving internet access.
Suitable for weddings, parties and similar events. We have 14 large tables and 120 chairs. The Large Hall is 53′-6″ long (plus stage) by 30′-0″ wide.
Suitable for small gatherings of around 30 people. Suitable for meetings, training and other small scale events. We have 9 small tables and plenty of chairs (which can be taken from the large hall subject to other lettings). The Small Hall is 23′-0″ by 20′-0″ wide.
Open from May through to early September the green is open daily to Nethy families and visitors from 10am till 8pm. You do not have to be a member to play and everyone is welcome to have a go. Bowls are available in the clubhouse. Please use the honesty box if you use the facilities. The money helps to maintain the green.
Abernethy Bowling Club meet every Monday and Thursday evening at 7pm. Visiting bowlers are welcome to join in and the club are keen to encourage new members. Enquiries email email@example.com
